Charging 7.2v li-on batteries through solar charger
    Hi,
I have a simple question but its been a confusing journey so far.
So I want to charge my 7.2v lithium ion canon camera battery using a readymade foldable solar charger. What I really need to know how many volts/watts solar charger I need which will successfully charge it. I know I will need the ac/dc adaptors etc I think I can sort that out.
I would appreciate if you can provide links to some solar panels on amazon.com or others and I can directly buy it. I bought one which is 5v capacity and I think I need to return it as its not sufficient.

Why an AC adapter? Solar cells make DC, that's what you need for charging. You need about 8 volts output and a suitable milliamp output from the panel. What is the milliamp rating on the battery?

What you need to do is a whole lot more complicated than you think... Lithium batteries require a very specific charge profile or they can be damaged. Hear about the fires caused by lithium Ion Batteries? besides physical damage causing that...improper charging will too. These are not a led acid battery where you simply provide a slightly higher voltage to it and it charges.
