Yes, do only one coke a day, divide it into small amount during day.

Try is Fr_Chuck suggested. If you can't stop that way, go cold turkey. It may take you a week or two to break the craving, but it will get easier.

Don't be surprised if you experience headaches at first, it is a common symptom when breaking a soda craving.

Ending the craving will be one of the best things you can do for your health.

Coke is an addiction mainly because of caffeine and sugar (if you are drinking regular Coke). The flavor just is associated with those.
I kicked all carbonated drinks because of increasing heartburn, which I still have anyway. It wasn't easy.

Here's the latest research on sugar, which to me is bad news, because it's too easy to use it as an excuse: sugar consumption in rats decreased the dopamine receptors in the brain, and increased the opioid receptors! Dopamine is associated with pleasing feelings. Opiates too of course, but now we need more and more sugar to feel good. A true drug, and a bad one. I'm a senior citizen testament to what happens from too much sugar. A very painful body all over, from damage to healthy cells.

Go cold turkey. Most people can't just cut down, although I manage to handle about 5 small drive-through diet cokes a year without going off the wagon. NONE in the house.

I use to drink a lot of these soda's. But I knew I had to stop, as I am reading your post the craving just kicked in. :p. Anyhow, Now I don't drink that much. May be once or twice in a year or not at all. How I keep myself away from it? Whenever I crave a soda, I purposely drink a lot of water sometimes flavored (like lemon, cucumber etc) ( you can substitute water with Juice you like). It makes my tummy feel full. And slowly that 'full' feeling takes away the crave. And also sometimes, I watch videos of how bad the sodas are for our body. That imagination also helps me to keep my cravings under control. :)
