    Septic drain cleanout with snake
I had socks put in clean-out/exhaust on roof. I had holes drilled in septic tank, ditch with drain rock/plastic pipe/drain cloth to filter run off/barrel.
The septic tank is not full, would renting a snake do the job.
Back_up in tub/wash run_off pipe back_up. Would I have to get on the roof and start from there? I had help from a Freddy FUD pucker... I told him to get the socks and clean_out on roof but, all that lint... Not happy on the Farm..

You most likely have a clog in the drain within the house. I would ask (and wonder) why trying to clean out that issue would not be the first thing

If all of the drains are not backing up, just a few, then the clog is between them and the other drains. So a snake is OK, if long enough, also, the use of an electric auger would be best often.

Agree with Chuck. The problem is somewhere before sewer reaches septic. Remove downstairs toilet, insert 3/4" snake and run it all the way to the septic

I won't even speculate how a sock got into your roof air vents (NOT a clean out or exhaust) or why you drilled holes in you septic tank, but snaking the roof vents is okay for your clearing your clog.
