Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fan is Grinding
Harbor Breeze Celing Fan Item # 187541 Model # AER52BP5LKRC has been installed for less than 2 years. It suddenly started making a grinding noise. Upon exploration, I discovered the space between the light compartment and the blade compartment (the one that turns when on) is not equal. By that, I mean it appears that it is "sprung" or out of kilter. I took the blades off and the situation is the same. I couldn't figure out how to realign the blade compartment. Is this even possible? Is this a chronic problem with this model? Can this situation be fixed? Of course, I don't have the installation instructions any longer. Thank you in advance for any help.

Check to confirm all screws that mount the lower piece are secure. SOmething may have become bent and you may need to bend it back.
