Difficulty in conceiving
My name is felicity,I am trying to conceive for past 6 months .Before that I was taking medicine not to get pregnant . I am 27 years old, got married in October. My periods are regular, but I've noticed that my ovulation cycle is not.what should I do to conceive , are there any safe fertility creams which can boost my chances of getting pregnant ? Do you think fertility creams work? If the answer is yes, could you recommend some?

If you are thinking of something like a progesterone cream, they only potentially help if you've been tested for and diagnosed with low progesterone.
There are various means of regulating your cycle, if necessary, but what might be best would depend on the situation.
What have you tried so far in determining when your ovulation is most likely to occur?
While 6 months seems like a long time when you are wanting to become pregnant, it's not unusually long. Often doctors won't start fertility testing (of both partners) until you've been trying for at least a year.
You can certainly speak to your gynecologist about your concerns sooner, especially since you feel that your cycles may not be regular... which can make determining likely ovulation more challenging.
You and your husband can benefit from making any lifestyle changes that you know would be healthy, if you haven't already. Be sure to start on a prenatal vitamin or multivitamin with at least 400 mcg of folic acid in it while trying to conceive.

No, the creams do not help, unless there is a conception issue because of the lack of a chemical. And then your doctor needs to test and prescribe the proper drug.
I will assume you are testing for ovulation, so you can try and estimate future ovulation.
What method of testing are you using?
It can of course take a year or more for a healthy couple to conceive even testing ovulation. Issues of no sex during non productive time, and timing sex properly can be difficult,
It took my wife and I almost 18 months following all the rules, for it to happen. And to be honest it took a toll on us, because of all the timing, charting, strict rules and so on. So be sure both you and husband are really and truly up for this.

First, any method to calculate ovulation is is not that accurate. The best method is basal temperature charting and event that can be off. So I'm not sure why you think your ovulation cycle isn't regular.Second, coming off birth control medication can take time for your ovulation to get back to normal. Its not unusual for for your fertility to take take several months to rebound. Third, Six months is not a long time especially given your circumstances. Finally, You should be discussing this with your OB-Gyn. I would wait another 3 months and then schedule a visit to see what is recommended.
