Should I be flattered or annoyed
Should I be flathered or annoyed yesterday me and my b/f were talking about when we met. We met on 12-25-05 he tells me that when he met me it wasn't like love at first sight but he felt something different with me than other girls. He had a trip planned a few days after we met already for cancun for a week. He went called me multiple time while being there. Back to yesterday he tells me that if he didn't go away he doesn't no if we would have even work out. I asked for a explanation about that statement he told me he thinks he was more interested in me cause I wasn't available for that week he also went on to say that he wasn't obssesd with me but he was interested. As the conversation progressed he told me see how funny things work out if it wasn't for my trip we might ave never been dating it and never been boyfriend/girlfriend.
I am asking about this because I want to see if there is a future here with him. Im ready to settle down and I'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad. Please see my other posts if they help with any advice thanks

I think he was trying to say that the time apart made him realize it wasn't just a physical attraction, he had feelings for you on more than just that level.
I don't think it's a bad thing but I don't think he knows how to express himself all that well.

I have always heard that "absence makes the heart grow fonder." Perhaps if you two had been around each other that first week he might not have taken notice due to other distractions, etc. You were enough to capture his interest, then the absence gave him time to really think the matter through then act on it.
There is no real reason to feel annoyed unless you are looking for a reason to argue.

What's so awful about pointing out how differently things could turn out if one or two things were changed? It could just be him discussing how something that seemed like it was just a vacation profoundly changed his life. Haven't you ever thought that if X hadn't happened then Y probably wouldn't have happened either? I sure have.

I think he is explaining to you men are stupid and have no idea how to tell you about how they feel.
He is trying to talk about feelings and how he felt about you. Just that should make you jump with joy, if you show anything but joy you will merely shut him down form talking about how he feels about future stuff.
