H4 Visa - Receive money from family abroad
    Hi
I'm currently on an H1-B visa and my wife has an H4
Her family want's to send her money every month (between 150$-350$) to help her but I wanted to know 2 things about it before accepting the money. (it would be coming to my wife's US Paypal Account)

    1) Is it LEGAL? I mean, is it allowed under the H4 visa to receive money from Family?

If it is legal, do we have to do something tax wise? Or is it just a gift from her family?

I'd try reading IRS documents regarding the H1B/H4 visa and taxes but for the life of me it seems to be written so a regular person wouldn't understand it :p

I'd really appreciate any help on this matter

It is perfectly legal for you to receive money from overseas. It is neither taxable income nor does it have to be reported for the amounts you are speaking of.
