    Question re: Mri test vs ct scan
    Can a person who has a metal plate and screws in shoulder due to fracture of Humerus bone last year... can she or he have an MRI of the lower spine or is a CT scan better ?

    The radiologist will instruct you as to what can and should be done, that is if your doctor doesn't make the decision for you

    That person cannot have an MRI, cut CAN have a CT scan.
