    Kidneys
Hello, I have been having terrible back pain on my left side. I went to my doctor two weeks ago he did a urine test said it looked cloudy and to monitor it. Two days ago the pin got worse and my urine became very cloudy white and very foul smelling. I called him and today he had me do another urine test. He said I had 30mg of protein but didn't do anything about it, as I am very run down feverish and have tons of drainage I'm coughing up is this normal? Or something to be concerned about?

I would say yes, something to be concerned about. Is this a specialist or a general doctor you are going to.

Your symptoms are not good. I would be worried about kidney function. A GP cannot diagnose this properly nor get you the proper trestment. You must see a kidney specialist immediately.

Spilling protein in your urine is a sign of kidney dysfunction, among other disorders. It's time to get to the bottom of this by seeing a nephrologist.
