Sewer gas smell coming from toilet
It seems like there is a sewer gas smell coming from one of our toilets. We are on septic if this matters. It is not the toilet bowl or lack of cleaning. It is not present all the time. Any suggestions on what to do?

Probably the wax seal as the gas cannot come back through the trap. However, do you ever hear the toilet "burp"? It could also be a plugged vent.
