Need to switch on and off many time to light up
    Hi,

I have 2 light fixtures connected to the same on/off switch. Both fixtures are halogen fixtures. One fixture has 1 halogen light and the other fixture has 5 halogen light in series on a string (IKEA). I need to flick the switch on and off 4 times in order to light up all the lights? If I only switch the light on once, only the single halogen lights up? Any idea why and how to resolve?

You have a bad connection some where. Most likely a defective switch.
