    Assault sec 266?
My first offense, I don't remember any of it happening. There's three witnesses against me, I'm 16, I've breached my conditions but I got bailed out, the assault was against my boyfriend and court is in a month, any advice? (This is in Ontario, Canada) Will I face jail time?

You breached your conditions of what? If you don't have an attorney, hire one immediately.

Do you live with a parent or adult relative? A 16 year old should be getting help from their guardian. Or have you been kicked out, or told you are on your own even if still at home?
I'm not being nosy. It's to try to figure out an answer.
Did you assault him right around the time he got caught, and is that why?

    The law..
    266. Every one who commits an assault is guilty of
    (a) an indictable offence and is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years; or
    (b) an offence punishable on summary conviction.
    R.S. c. C-34, s. 245; 1972, c. 13, s. 21; 1974-75-76, c. 93, s. 22; 1980-81-82-83, c. 125, s. 19.

So you could face up to 5 years in prison. You need an lawyer, what did you tell the police, did you confess?
Witnesses forget, get confused and often their stories can conflict. That is what an lawyer looks at. They also work with the crown, and try to get a good plea deal for you.

I am not sure what conditions?? Were you already on probation?
