    Do I use durock for the walls if I am going to tile from floor to ceiling
    I would like to tile my bathroom from floor to ceiling do I use durock for the walls or water proof sheet rock

    I would use backer board in the shower area, green board in all other places, including floors if over wood decking. .

    Meant to say, DUROCK on the floor, not green board.
