Will I pass an ETG test if I drank 1 beer 5%
Today around 1pm I consumed a glass of beer that was 5%. I had no idea that I had a surprise drug test tomorrow at 4:30 Pm so it's a little over 24 hours away. Will this 5% beer be out of my system in less than 24 hours?

That quantity would usually be burned off in one hour but best have no more to ensure no residual reading for presence of alcohol

All I had today at 1pm was one standard bar glass of 5% beer with food and I had about 4-5 glasses of water with it and after I drank it and also I was eating. Will there be EtG in me by 4:30pm tomorrow? I was doing some reading and Dr.bill awhile ago said that one beer should be gone in less than 24 hours. About 18-20 hours

Well there IS a chance you will fail...

    Its not even 24 hours...

And incidentally... you don't flush it out with water, in fact you can't... it HAS to be metabolized. And no two people do that the same... and alcoholics take longer than other people. A result of the damage they have done to their liver. Therefore its a wild guess at best.

How's THAT for an educated opinion?

1pm today to 1pm tomorrow is 24 hours, plus 3 hours is 27 hours so it is over 24 hours man. I was reading info on one beer and EtG and DR.bill stated that one beer that's 5% takes anywhere from 18-20 hours for EtG to be cleared

Well Dr. Bill isn't around any longer... and there are no set in stone Finite numbers... they aren't the same for everyone... even if they all drank the same thing at the same time and had tests at the same time. Some might pass and some might fail.

Random surprise tests are designed to catch people drinking when they aren't allowed. Don't drink and you don't have to sweat tests when they come.

Thank you down you're input. I'm a person who made a mistake and I understand that. I was just looking for a friendly answer.

A mistake is accidentally throwing a red shirt in the washing machine full of whites thus turning all of your white clothes. No offense, but once you learn the difference between a "mistake" and a conscious choice, you will be on a better road to recovery.

What's done one is done. You made a conscious choice to drink when you knew there was a risk of a surprise test. While the chance that you will pass is high, was that drink worth the stress you are going through now?

On the average, one beer will be burned away by then, but then, at times it will not. ETG tests have many issues, (and false positive readings).

Everyone's body is different, so numbers and times are estimates. What is also included, is prior usages, and the such, since numbers can build on each other.

You should pass the test, but it is not a 100 percent for sure.

Thanks for you're input man. I guess the moral is to just not drink, not even one. S to stressful
