    NYC Corrections
I am interested in joining NYC corrections. The exam is months from now and I need some valuable insight. I know that you need a valid drivers license to be considered for the position. I recently was unaware that my license was suspended due to a speeding ticket that I had forgot about and did not pay. I resolved the matter as soon as I found out that my license was suspended. Is there any point system that corrections follow by? And will that temporary suspension stick when my day comes to be interviewed? Thanks in advance!

It can not stop you from being hired. But if they want to hire 100 people, and all other things equal, it can effect. Do you have a university degree? Do you have any military experience? All of those things can help you be hired before the others.
