New A Coil (closet mobile home model) high headpressure
Well this is almost embarrassing, I am the residential coordinator for our air conditioning company. This means I have an entire team of installers, salesmen, and service technicians a call away. My closet evap coil ended up rusting through last week, still cooled great, typically ran it at about 69*F, just with the rust hole it sucked water in and leaked. Had it replaced yesterday. Installer has been doing a/c since he was a kid. A/C worked amazingly before the replacement. It was approximately 100*F yesterday. When he gave up, it was showing close to 280 head pressure with normal a suction range. He guessed excessive working due to heat, possible issue with gauges, and everything in between to almost telling me I need a new condenser lol. Spoke to a few today and apparently, this issue is baffling? Note: There is no ice. I've since cleaned the condenser (very dirty). At about midnight last night the house reached 73*F. Sunrise came more heat to the house and at the hottest part of the day was holding at about 78/80*F. I'm starting to believe it is overcharged. I am having one of my guys back out tomorrow, but I'm thinking I may be able to just fix it myself with some gauges. Thoughts? Before I begin calls to borrow tools? (Note: I am extremely familiar with A/C's - I've been in A/C field for 8 years now, but I am not a tech, just handle parts/warranty/billing/scheduling/etc. I promise I won't ruin a unit with gauges lol.)

    Will assume a 410A system. With a 100* ambient, that head pressure may be a bit low. The chart I used shows 274# @ 90*, 295# @95* and 317#@ 100*
