The fan light sparked when the wall switch was turned off
The fan stopped working when the switch on the wall was pushed to shut off the light.
There was a spark from one of the lights and then nothing.
I replaced the switch on the wall, it is getting electric. All the wires inside the fan look good.the remote is indicating that is getting power from the battery when the buttons are pushed the indicating light goes on. So what is next.
The lamp is from HD and it is 3 years old.
    Thanks
    Gary

"Spark from one of the lights" My suggestion is to make sure the circuit breaker / fuse is either OFF or Out. Then replace all of the light bulbs.

Then restore power and let us know if that fixes the problem.

The wall switch for my ceiling fan recently broke (it wouldn't change the speed of the fan anymore), so I bought a new one. The fan also has a light. The new wall switch instructions simply say to connect the blue wire to the fan red to the light, black to the HOT. Then the diagram shows a neutral...
