When taking a bath; the bath stopper keeps getting pushed back up, draining the water, --- the stopper is a 1 1/2" rubber stopper (not the mechanical kind) Is this considered back pressure? If so, how can I correct it? Thanks in advance

How do you remove a tub stopper that is part of the drain. I am sure there is a way to detach, but can't figure it out. Any help would be great.

I had a new large Kohler sink installed in the bathroom. The pop up stopper can be twisted and pulled out.
