    Condenser Fan Starts but turns slowly and stops
    Hi, my outside unit quit working the other day. It is an ICP 5 ton I believe. I I found and replaced the blown capacitor (looked like a dropped soda can). Now, the fan will come on but turns slowly and eventually stops. The compressor is coming on and cool air does blow out of the vents in the house while the condenser fan is running.

    What is the most likely next step? I was thinking the fan motor

    that is the next logical step. Remember you will have to change capacitor again as the fan motors have different values of capacitance.
