    It's not that easy. You have to legally adopt the baby after the biological father gives his legal consent. I suggest you contact a local family law attorney.

    A baby is not property that can be given away. This has to be done legally.

    A petition for adoption needs to be filed with the local family court. BOTH parents will need to agree to the adoption. I would not attempt this without an attorney so your best bet is to start now, interviewing Family Law attorneys and pick one to get the ball rolling.

    Agreed, first legally nothing an be done till the baby is born, so if the baby is not born, you will need to wait till then. But you can get the lawyer to start working on the paper work.

    The father and mother of the baby will need to sign for the adoption and the court may also want to properly investigate your background and even do a home study.

    Also, OP needs to be careful about any financial arrangements with the birth mother. In most states, payments to birth mothers by potential adoptive parents might possibly be viewed as being illegal "baby selling".
