    Help mee!
    I'm 18 years old.I shoplifted for the first time and it was at Macy's about 400$ here in arlington va.I have court Tomorrow.I don't know what will happen.because of my stupidity I've lost my boyfriend,my grandpa is feeling sick because of me,I'm probably not going to college anymore,I've disappointed my mother,and I feel stupid and I regret this,I know I'm not the smartest,but I'm a good person but I just committed a huge mistake and I feel really down that I haven't slept nor have I eaten because I feel really guilty ,I feel like I'm a waste of a human and I'm just so scared of what might come to me.

    You realize that you messed up, accept what consequences you receive, vow to yourself that it won't happen again... that you are better than that, hard lesson learned.

    Things will change in time. You'll be able to get an education and move on with your life.

    You will do whatever the court deems fit, and if you truly are a good person you will learn a valuable lesson, and do better with your life.

    Eventually you can put this behind you, and live a great life.

    Why do you think, you will not go to college ? It may keep you out of some higher ranked schools, but you can still go to college.

    You are paying a price for your mistake.
    I will assume you confessed to the police and court is merely to be sentenced. If you can get a first offender program that would be best, so you should have an attorney to go with you.

    You will get (my guess) probation, a find of about 400 to 600 dollars and later have to pay a civil penalty to the store of about 500 dollars.
