How to id and rebuild Old Friederich Grohe Shower Faucet
Hi, I am trying to identify and rebuild an old Friederich Grohe shower faucet. It is maybe over twenty years old, and is the kind where you pull the handle out to turn it on, and rotate the handle to set the temperature.

I can see how to get the handle out, I have rotated the cover and pulled it off, and I have removed the large snap ring that holds the handle retainer, and then the handler just comes out of its hole in the cartridge.

The cartridge, however, doesn't seem to want to come out. I don't see any kind of screw in retainer or snap ring, just a white nylon retainer that appears to be a press fit.

Any ideas on how can I identify the faucet and replace the o-rings, or cartridge?

    Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Turns out it is a Grohe Euromix faucet. It is in the showers in both of our bathroom. I was able to identify it on the guillens.com web site. I ordered the rebuild kit for it. Grohe part number 46090000. Wish me luck. I've rebuilt washered faucets as well as delta style faucets but this is the first Euromix I've had to try. Does anyone have any tips for me?
