I have a laptop with Windows 98. My taskbar is on the top instead of the bottom. How do I get it back to normal?

You can move it by "grabbing " it with your mouse. Float over and left click and hold, then drag it down to the bottom again.

I tried that. It did drag to the bottom, but then now it disappeared altogether. Now what?

Now it is probably "below the screen " and if you grab the lowest point of your screen and pull it up a 1/4" you should be OK again.
