    What will happened if I take my pills out of order? Instead of taking 8-9-10 I take 14-13-12.

    Why would you want to do that? It will disrupt your cycle.

    For or the pill to be most effective it needs to be taken every day, around the same time.

    I believe that most, 21 if I recall, of the pills are the same and 7 are placebo pills. This is to feed into the habit of taking the pills. I do not believe that there is a difference between 12-14 and 8-10. There shouldn't be at least.

    What you need to do is get back on schedule. Start with your lowest day and continue the pack, you should be fine. Take care with your pill pack in the future to prevent this. If you're still nervous, and I have a feeling that you will be, then use condoms for the remainder of this pack and the next pack of pills. It will ensure that, if there is a difference in the hormone levels in the pills, you're protected from pregnancy as well as you can be.
