    Tub surround
I'm redoing my bathroom and have a castiron tub 60x30x14 with a tile ceramic tub enclosure. The tub is in pretty good shape but I would like to replace the ceramic surround with a rigid tub surround that you attach to the studs. My question is do you think that the new tub surround will fit okay on the top of the old tub ? I know that the cast iron tub has a lip on all three sides, and was going to rest the new tub surround in front of the lip of the tub. The new product that I'm talking about comes in four pieces - 3 sections of tub surround and a new bath tub.

Is the enclosure designed to fit over the lip of the tub? How will the enclosure attach to the studs? Regards, Tom
