    My ejector pump is humming.
Ejector pump humming. Can I unplug and wait for professional to check or will it overflow. I unplugged and plugged back in but it didn't stop humming.

Pump hums if there is either large piece debris caught up in the rotor preventing it from spinning or if there is an electrical problem. You can certainly unplug the pump, however, you should also stop using bathrooms in your house as with bathroom usage, pit will slowly fill up with sewage and eventually will overflow.

    Hope that helps
