    Conceiving help
My last period started March 11. I had unprotected sex on the 13th, but my partner did not ejaculate inside of me. I had sex a week after and a few times since then, to where he did do his thing inside. I was expecting my period this month around the 11th, but lately I've noticed my period would come later and later so when it was a couple days late I wasn't freaking out because I had the tender breasts, cramping, bloated feeling, mood swings. It got to be 12 days late when I started to bleed. I thought that it was probably my period, but it was so light, and would be gone for awhile then start again. Nothing really enough to have to wear a tampon, mostly just when I wiped. It ranged from clear/light pink, to brown, to red. When I realized it wasn't my period, I went out and got a test, and sure enough it was positive, but a faint positive. (2 vertical lines-negative, a plus sign and vertical-positive, mine was 2 distinct vertical lines, and a faint horizontal line across the 'plus' sign) I have still had this bleeding/spotting going on, and have some cramping. My question is, was this bleeding implantation bleeding? Did I conceive when I had sex during my period? I read that people usually get implantation bleeding a few days BEFORE their missed period, so I'm not really sure what to think. I am trying to figure out when I conceived, and am not really sure of my exact cycle so I'm sure that won't help. Any info or help would be greaaatly appreciated! I do have an almost 3 year old daughter, so I know how some of this works, but right now I'm completely at a loss.

There is not one "time" for the implantation bleeding, many it is a week or two after sex, Normally you are not going to see a positive on the test till about 3 or 4 weeks after when pregnancy happened.

I am not sure what you really want to know? If your test was really positive you are pregnant, and when is not really that important. Now you see your doctor, confirm the results and prepare for the pregnancy.

It is somewhat common to have a bit of spotting or light bleeding in early pregnancy. In many cases it has to do with rising hormones and/or the developing placenta.

When you have an early ultrasound, you'll get a fairly good idea of how far along you are, which in turn will help you have a better idea of when conception was likely to have occurred.
