    Hydrostatic Transmission filter
    I have a Craftsman Model 917.251572 lawnmower. Is there a cross reference chart I can use to determine the correct Transmission filter without having to purchase the Sears brand ($36.00).

    Hi,
    Often an Autozone can cross into a Fram equivalent. Two things that are important with these filters are the pressure and the gasket (sealing) diameter.
