    Hijab
    I live in australia and I want to wear hijab but my husband is not letting me wear it saying that if you do hijab here people will look more towards you will abuse you and he won't feel safe for me I tried very much but he never agrees he says I can divorce you but I won't let you do hijab he says you can have separation and go back to pakistan and do hijab . What should I do ?

    You should do as your husband orders, that is your duty as his wife.

    He was clear about his wishes, so make a decision. He does sound like he has your best interest at heart so you should consider what he is demanding of you.

    Also of course while the traditional head covering is often called a hijab, as used in the Qur'an it is merely a covering, not a specific type of garment, and also even used to mean a curtain that would separate men and women.

    The major part of this is respect to the husband, showing modest dress. Disrespect to your husband would in many cases be much worst, than wearing or not wearing a specific type of garment.
