    Your 95 Civic does not have points; instead, it has an Ignition Control Module (ICM). It's best to replace ICMs every 125,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first. Apply silicone heat transfer compound to the back of the new ICM, should you replace your's, or it won't last long. There is no reliable test for ICMs, not even the Well's machine at AutoZone.
