About air circulation in my home
Last year I would put the fan on to circulate air without AC turned on, and that worked well. Roofers worked near my AC unit and now, when I turn on the fan I either get very hot air daytime, and cold air at night. The air intake is in the main hallway, no temp fluctuation there. Ideas? Thanks much

This is an all electric mobile home that has an outside air conditioner with heating system. It is blowing cold air when the heat is turned on at the thermoniter.
I like to have thermostat set to "on" for constant air circulation and white noise. I just got a new furnace(Rheem RGPN-07eamer) and t-stat(hunter). Now, about 10 seconds before the heater kicks on, the blower goes off... Then comes back on with the heat. Do you know why the blower is would do...
This happens after we finished some basement remodling. Already tried to change air filters, checking return and blowing temperature(which are fine) and most recently changed a sensor and still the furnace shuts down episodically. What else could be happening?
My wife shuts off bedroom doors to keep the pets out. My question is will this keep heating and air from not circulating through out the house correctly? It seems our great room stays cold and the bedrooms are warm. Thanks.
Our home is heated by a hot water boiler. The heating pipes are at the floor at baseboard level. They're covered by floor-length drapes. To better heat the rooms, should we raise the drapes to let the heat escape, or are the warmed bottom of the drapes better for general room heating?
