We just purchased our home (built in 2002) and wanted to replace the vanity lights. The builder put in the inexpensive "Broadway/Hollywood" strip lights. When we removed the light we discovered there is no electrical box of any kind... just wires running up and out through a hole in the drywall...

I am trying to install a vanity light. There are 4 green wires tied in a bundle, 4 black wires tied in a bundle, one loose green wire and one loose bare wire. The new light has one white wire, one black wire and one bare wire. I connected the wires and all I get is direct current to the fixture....

Hi, Currently in my bathroom is a lighted vanity with a small built in two prong plug. I want to install a GFCI. The vanity is controlled by a wall switch.
