    Cascading Multiswitches
We're in the middle of a major home remodel and while all the drywalls are out, we figure it's a good opportunity to wire each room up for satellite TV. My question is can multiswitches be cascaded (daisy-chained)? The most output that I could find are 8. We will need at least a dozen (we have some dual-tuner units). If cascading is possible, how would it be done? Thanks for any help!

Do you mean satellite multi-switches or a/v switches?

Each mult-switch will have a signal loss associated. Casade them and the losses add up, eventually giving you no signal strength.

Perhaps what you need is something like this.

You should also look at a distribution panel. For example from here and here.

Also, take a look at this site for more ideas.
