    Mass/Motion
A frog is riding on the top of a cylindrical piece of wood floating in still water. Half of the wood, with a diameter of 4cm and length 20cm, is immersed in water. The density of water is 1gm/cc. What is the mass of the wood along with the forg?
After the frog slowly goes into the water only one third of the wood remains immersed in water. Calculate the mass of the frog.
Calculate X, the distance between the water level and the center of the circular end of the wooden piece.
Briefly describe the motion of the wood after the instance the frog moves into the water. Give rough sketch of X as a function of time..

Yep, you better get busy, we don't do your homework.
What is the volume of the wood before and after frog? Remember it is a cylinder.

Do u know y an object stays afloat? This is because the weight of it is equal to the upward force exerted by water (or any other liquid ) .
So try to find the pressure then buoyant force That water exerts on the wood. What must that equal to? ( hint: the wood is floating )
