    Halo push connectors
I am installing 10 new Halo recessed cans with eventually LED fixtures. The
Fixtures will be controlled by a 3 way dimmable circuit. The hot circuit feed from the electrical panel will be at the regular 3 way switch and 14-3 running across the kitchen to a 3 way dimmer.
From this dimmer I have 14-2 romex to the first recessed can (A) and 14-2 to the second can (B) and 14-2 to the third (C) and so on.

My question is whether connections from 14-2 from the 3 way dimmer to can A and the 14-2 from can A to can B should be made using the pre installed push connector in the Halo fixture to connect all the wires? Or is it better or necessary to connect the feed wiring and a short pig tails with wire nuts and just push connect the pig tail wires into fixture? Doing it with wire nuts and pig tails takes a lot more time. Using the push connectors in the Halo cans seems easy and quick, BUT is it safe, will I get the same dimming in fixture 1 as I see in fixture 10 at the end of the chain? All the lights are low wattage LED.

    Thanks

I have installed literally hundred of these cans, all using the provided push-in connectors, (along with many other splices using Wago and Ideal connectors of the same type) with zero failures.
At the same time, I have never had a wire nut that I installed fail either.

Don't let anyone tell you they are the same as quick-wire receptacle connections. They are not.
