    First paystub causing confusion
    My first pay stub of the year is confusing me a little I earn 525.12 wkly but my first stub dated 1-3-15 to 1-9-15 ytd total shows 1025.24 the next week shows ytd of 1575.36 how is this correct is it legal? This is my first time online looking into it

    Probably because your last payperiod was 12-27-14 to 1-2-15. The hours were worked last year, but you were paid for it this year. The income is for this year. So you're in your third pay period. It makes sense and is legal.

    i agree, but the numbers as stated don't quite add up. 525.12 x 2 = 1050.24, not 1025.24.

    It is a easy fix, go to the HR or person who does your pay and ask, In fact they would have been first person I would have talked to.
