My subject
May sound like a stupid question.
Should I drop science? I don't really like the subject, and would most likely fail it anyway? But don't know if I should just stick it out and deal with it? What should I do?

Is credits in this subject a requirement for graduation? If it is, do you have enough required credits to graduate, or will you have to go to summer school?
It's all about having enough credits in the right areas (subjects) to get that diploma, to have options and opportunities after high school. Being poorly prepared just mean you have to go back and redo what you should have done before.
Ask your school guidance counselor for the facts of where you stand, and what is required. At least then you can make a decision based on facts, and not just feelings (of disliking a subject). Maybe extra time and help, like a tudor is a better course of action, than dropping a required subject for graduation.

Very true thank you and good point as I do do health and social care which is 2 A levels and then arts awards is half and so is extended project and then science is an A level and I did half an A (AS) in year 11 but don't think that would be enough without science. Might just try harder to like the subject and just try. Thanks

I don't know what country you live in, but where I am you will need science for social work. It sounds strange, but some of the sciences will come in handy.

I think I will just keep it as it will be handy and I'm in the UK and don't think you do? The only reqiurement was 3A levels and a C in English in GCSE and expericnce with children.

I can't speak for the UK as I am in the US. I know my daughter needed science for her social work major.

Where I live, at my daughter's college, not only was science necessary, but so was biology and anatomy and physiology. You need to know these things to recognize signs of abuse and whether they are caused physiologically or mechanically.

This is what we need and the science is completely good idea to have along side
Five GCSE’s grade C or above to include Mathematics, English and Science. Preference is given to applicants who have obtained these grades on application
UCAS tariff
280 points, 180 from two A-levels. Preference is given to those with a social science profile.
IB
24 points (with a minimum of 12 at Higher Level). Social science profile preferred.
But I don't have a course with social science so not sure

I'm sorry I can't advise you. Our education system is different. We don't have GCSE's. We take the SAT's or ACT's.
You ou need to meet with your guidance counselor and ask these questions.

I didn't learn it, I put in a translator on Google as I copied what she wrote on it and then pasted it into the translator but I have learnt sign language though.
