Pregnancy symptoms mirena came out negative test??
I have had the Mirena in for 2 .5 years I have been having pregnancy symptoms for a few weeks now. My Mirena came out two weeks ago. I feel pregnant and I look pregnant. I had a faint positive but now nothing but negatives. Yet still no period. I didn't show up on test with my first two kids but did with the last two... Could I be pregnant... Should I ask for blood test and an ultrasound!_

That IUD also releases small doses of birth control hormone. The possibility of becoming pregnant this quickly after coming off is low but not insubstantial. When you say faint positive, what do you mean? If you followed the directions to the letter, including the vaild after XX minutes and for XX minutes, then that could suggest you're pregnant. If you too the test and came back to it an hour or two later, any faint positive line is invalid. After a certain point the control line will leech into the test area activating the indicator in the test area.
I would wait until you've missed the period you should have had after you took the mirena out by about week or two and then try another test. If you can't wait that long, then a doctors visit is in order.

To add to what Craven said, at two weeks you wouldn't "look" pregnant because the fetus would only be the size of a grain of rice.

I got pregnant on the mirena last time I had it.. but miscarried . And yes I followed the test correctly. I do have four kids already so I know what my body looks like pregnant and I looked 3 months at 6 weeks . I am very small framed and it shows super fast. I've been having symptoms before the mirena came out. Now they are worse and I'm getting bigger.

As an obstetrical nurse, I can assure you that, if you are pregnant, the fetus is only the size of a grain of rice. I'm not trying to discredit you, but speaking from knowledge of anatomy and physiology, it would be impossible for you to look pregnant at two weeks.
It would be wise of you to ask for a quantitative blood test. This would measure the quantity of HCG in your system telling you how far along you are rather than a qualitative blood test giving you a positive or negative. It would be too early for an ultrasound.

Like I said I have been having symptoms since before the mirena came out. But it's been out for two weeks and still no period. And with my first son they didn't know I was pprego even after all the test till I had an ultrasound and was 6 weeks. That's why I am asking. I don't want to keep going on if I am pregnant.
And I can tell you for sure I show already at 6 weeks

We can't diagnose over the internet. You will have to see your doctor.

Your knowledge of your body is obviously better then the decades of experience and training of our resident OB nurse.
Confirm it with your doctor so you can either get it "Taken care of" or start proper Prenatal care.

You could go several weeks before you start periods again. Any hormonal form of birth control can effect women differently depending on how their body happens to respond. This will be true for both when they start using the birth control and when they stop using it. If you had a faint positive, and then negatives, it could be due to an early loss. It could be a faulty test. It could be a very early pregnancy.
As was said, if you want to know for certain, see your doctor about a blood test.
