Clindamycin cream and bad vaginal taste
I just used clindamycin vaginal cream (2%) for the first time and now I have a bad vaginal taste. This is disgusting. How long before it goes away and can I speed up the process? I have only used the cream for 2 days and stopped using it because of this problem.

You are missing the purpose of this medication; you have supposedly bacterial vaginosis wich means the Ph level in your vagina has been interrupted by, probably dirty fingernails from foreplay. So if you use it properly as prescribed, abstain from sexual activity for the prescribed time, then you will be good to go in no time. No, there is no way to speed up the process of getting you back on track again. What is even more disgusting is a problem like this continuing untreated.

Don't stop using the cream and your lover will not have to complain again. It is your health concern, not his.

It sounds like the bad taste is because you stop using the cream and did not stop having sex, till the cream had a chance to work

Its medicine, and its not supposed to taste good. Didn't you tell the guy who probably caused you to use the medicine why you don't taste good anymore? I mean GEEEEEZ, why are you still even having any kind of sex during this time? That's just NASTY.

Not just for taste but the smell can't be that great either!
