    Felons hunting license Wyoming
I have 2 misdeaners in Oregon 8 years ago for shooting a firearm in the air off my porch. I cannot buy a firearm for 2 more years when I can remove it from my record. I think I can legally own firearms but want to get a hunting license in Wyoming. Can I get a license to hunt in Wyoming ? In Oregon if you have 2 misdemeaners in a year you cannot puchase a firearm. I have 1 year to go.

That may be the law in Oregon, but you are asking about the law in Wyoming. I doubt if Wyoming cares what Oregon requires for firearm purchases.
The Wyoming hunting license application forms can be found here. I see no question about the applicant's criminal record. But it it is likely that there are restrictions on possession of firearms by convicted felons. There are certainly federal restrictions to that effect.

Why is this thread entitled "Felons hunting license Wyoming"? You wrote that you have only been convicted of misdemeanors. No felony, right?

I also,am confused, there are Federal Laws on felons. So, are you a felon or not?

The hunting laws from state to state are different, one state law,has no bearing on,the other.

You titled this with the word "felon". If you are a felon, you cannot even touch a firearm legally.

    Wyoming Game & Fish Department

    Wildlife Violator Compact
Wyoming is a member of the Wildlife Violator Compact. This will allow a violator from any of the
participating states to accept a wildlife citation and proceed on his way without being required to post
an appearance bond, unless the violation requires must appear and no bond accepted. The Compact 5
also recognizes the suspension of wildlife license privileges of any person whose license privileges have
been suspended by a participating state. If you have had your privileges suspended in any of the
participating states, you may lose your privileges in Wyoming, in addition to all the participating
Compact states. Additional information about the Compact can be obtained by contacting the Wildlife
Law Enforcement Coordinator at 307-233-6413. Applicants shall be disqualified from participating in
drawings or in the awarding of preference points if the applicant's privilege to purchase or receive any
hunting license has been suspended by a court order or the Wildlife Violator Compact.
You can apply for a license. But if Oregon restricts you, so will Wyoming.
