    Paternity establishment
I do have 2 girls (4 and 6 years old) living with their mom ( my ex girl friend). So my ex girlfriend did not tell DSHS the father of the kids to get some benefits. I told her to tell the truth and she does not want. I want to get the lawyer now so I should get the paternity established and start paying the child support. Who is going to be in trouble her or me? As she is the one who was lying even by giving a fake name for the father of the kids? What should I do? Please advise

I thought you got married a few months ago? I read your other posts and it's a mystery what you two are really up to. Why don't you both sit down and get this straight with a lawyer. Are you trying to get her and you deported for fraud? Sounds like you should be.

You will want to file a petition to prove paternity, through the court. She can ask for child support if she wishes, and you ask for visitation.

I began a paternity/support case against my ex. I'm curious of the costs associated with a paternity test when done through the court system, not independently.
