Does she really want me back?
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful year and a half long relationship. We almost never fought, hung out all the time, and I thought it was perfect. It is my first serious relationship, and my first true, honest love. When this spring break came up, we ended up going to different places for the week, but I thought everything was fine. However, when I came back, she seemed different. Her trip was with one of her friends and a bunch of her friends guy friends. She didn't cheat on me, I'm sure of it, but she did have a lot of fun with everyone. Anyway, after confronting her about the akwardness I was noticing, she told me something was different. She said she still loved me, didn't want to lose me, etc. So we decided to take a break. After about a week of absolute HELL, this meaning I was losing my mind and couldn't stop thinking about her, I decided to end the relationship and told her that if she figure things out, and truly loves me back, that I will gladly try to rekindle things. After a week apart, talking once in awhile but nothing as close as we used to be, she called one night and wanted to come over. She then told me that all the guys she had met since we broke up had been jerks, and she drunkenly made out with one of her "spring break" guy friends and that it meant nothing and she felt terrible, etc. So we talked and decided to start things over, but take it slow and start with just dating again. It's been a couple of weeks now, and we've gone on a few dates, and she says she loves me and etc, but I don't really feel like she wants to get back together. She still goes out with those new guy friends (as in to the bars/clubs), but says that they're just friends and not to worry. She still considers herself single though, and that DATING doesn't mean we're boyfriend/girlfriend again. Long story short, I want to get back to the relationship we used to have. It seems to me, however, that she may have just been missing me and the whole relationship thing but doesn't really want ME, and that when I agreed to HER decision to start things over again, she felt not so lost. I know this all may be a little confusing, but this is my first post and I have a LOT on my chest. If anything needs to be cleared up, I will gladly do so. Thanks, I'm going through a rough time :( .

How old are you two? It seems that you will have to accept she doesn't want a relationship and is enjoying being single, which is so understandable if she is young. My advice to you is do the same. Enjoy being single and have a life you enjoy and find your own happiness. What you want she can't give you so don't pressure her.
