Hi so I have a question. Well so I had my last period on November 3 and it lasted about seven days (which is kind of normal sort of I usually last 4-5 days depending if I'm heavily flow or medium.) anyway I ended on the 9th of November and I had sex about two weeks later on the 29th of November. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he came in me. I'm also not on any birth control or did not take any contraception pills after. It's now been a week since we had sex and I'm suppose to be starting my period today which is dec.5 or suppose to be starting this weekend. I already took a home pregnancy test last night and it read no but I'm thinking it's too early to tell. I want to know if there's any possible chance I could be pregnant? I also want to know how early should I take another pregnancy test? Please help me.

You can start testing between 7-14 days after you miss your period. If it was due today its too early, since you aren't late yet. The closer to 14 days, the more likely the result will be accurate. Also you need to read the instructions on how to use the test. First morning urine is best, so you take the test in the morning, not at night.

Yes, you can do another test in one week, and if negative, do another test a week later.

If you happened to ovulate soon after you had sex, than yes, you could be pregnant. While it is not impossible, a week before a period is due is not the mostly likely time to become pregnant however. Give it some time to see if your period shows up. Sometimes a cycle may be a off a bit and your period comes just a little later than the norm. If no period, try a pregnancy test.

Any time there is penile insertion there is the chance of pregnancy. So yes, you could be pregnant. But there is no way to tell for sure until you properly test.

Sounds like you two are gamblers. Keep it up and you will be pregnant, maybe sooner than you want.

Agree with Scott, it is possible, but it is not as likely. If you are planing on a pregnancy, you will want to work on timing, if You do not want to be pregnant, you need to consider some form of birth control
