    2 periods a month
Hi. I am 20 years old and stopped using Yasmin Birth Control September of 06. Since then I have had nothing but problems. I might also add that I am 5'6 and 240lbs. Anyway, I quit using in September. Okay on October 18th I had a regular period. Then I didn't have another period until January first. That period lasted for about 2 weeks. I had a regular period in Feb. Then in the middle of March I had a regular period. On March 31th I bled for four days. Today is April 14th and I have started to bleed again. What is wrong with me. I am so frustrated and my husband and I want to get pregnant but I keep having all these problems. Right now I am taking a prenatal vitamin so if I do get pregnant I will have been taking care of myself. I haven't dieted any but have cut back on the portions of food I eat and I have been eating healthier. I walk as usual but that isn't overdoing it in any way. I know it is better to be at a healthy weight to get pregnant so I am doing everything I know how that is healty. Why do I keep having these freak periods? What is wrong with me? I don't know what I am going to do. I don't have any insurance at this time and I have been looking for some. Help me please!!

I am sorry about your insurance situation, but health is more important. The only way to know for sure what is going on with you is by getting a physical examination and blood work to rule out anything else.

It also might take a while for your periods and body to adjust without the use of the medicine.

Yes, it is very important to lose the weight. It is important for you to continue your prenatels and make sure your eating healthier.

    Best wishes. Joe
