    Early Miscarriage Or Not ?
I've Been Having Pregnancy Symptoms &&' I Missed My Period Nov 8th. My Fiancé &&' I Had Sex On The 10th, When I Woke Up The Next Morning I Was Bleeding.. The Bleeding Lasted For 3 Days.. On The First Day It Was Heavy, On The Second Day It Was Medium Went Bright Later On That Day &&' It Was Bright, On The Third Day I Only Had Spotting.. I Took Two Pregnancy Test Yesterday &&' Both Were Negative. I'm Not Giving Up.. I'm Still Having Pregnancy Symptoms &&' Cramps, But Not Period Cramps. My Fiancé Doesn't Think I'm Pregnant He Knows I Am. &&' We Also Got The Test From Dollar Tree, &&' Those Test Aren't Really That Good.. They Gave My Cousin A Negative Result Every time She Took One. I Know About Breakthrough Bleeding, Decidual Bleeding, &&' Everything Else.. I've Read About Miscarriages. I Don't Need Any Bad Judgement Or Negative Comments, Just Some Friendly Advice, Or If Any Of You Have/Somewhat Experienced This. My Periods Usually Start Spotting, Then Turns Into A Light Flow &&' It Last 5/7 Days.. My Period Comes On Time Every 23 Days

There's no way to know unless you do get a positive test result.
Your period might have been 3 days late, and shorter than usual for you.
You can't really distinguish period symptoms from pregnancy ones.
Countless women say 'I am always on time' ---- until the month they aren't.

I am siding with your Fiancé here. A lot of pregnancy symptoms are similar to symptoms preceding your period, or food poisoning, or stress, or many other things. The best symptoms, and in fact the only reliable symptoms save for a positive pregnancy test, is a missed period. Which you didn't. Which leads me to the next point. A woman's periods are regular until they're not. Past performance is no indication of future performance. Which is to say that for the last 20 years of your life your periods could have been this way and no other, then something changes in you and then there's something new 'regular'. I understand and accept that you know your body the best, but your body is constantly changing, this includes differing hormone levels.

As well you could have fertalized an egg but for whatever reason it didn't grow and it's being flushed. Your system would still produce some but not a lot of pregnancy hormones which could throw things off. At this point it wouldn't even be a pinhead size. This happens. All you can do is try, try, and try again.

Last point, Dollar store pregnancy tests might not be as accurate as the 50$ gold encrusted premium tests but they work on the same principle. Don't knock them too badly, they'll be accurate but you need to do them about 14 days after your missed period with the early morning urine.

    Good luck.

Um... you had your period the 10th or 11th. Unless I am misreading you're post here. Regardless two weeks after, the 24th or so.

I mean all that is just not relevant. My first sentence is the only one you need. No one online or anywhere you can tell you the odds of being pregnant.

There are and they listen to what we say.

Have you had sex after the 16th of October but before the 10th of November? The bleeding after you had sex with your fiancé, was it bright red fresh blood? Was he particularly hard during that love making session? Is there anything that would indicate that you have vaginal tears?

What I am saying is that you MIGHT have had very regular periods, but this could be an abnormal period. There are many reason for abnormal periods. You might be on a strict 23 day schedule but that doesn't mean you will always be.

Your period could have been off slightly, as has been said. For everyone who has had a slightly off period, there had to be a first time, right... even if they had been regular for years before.

It could be that you are pregnant, and have just had some early bleeding, perhaps from the sex, so try another test in about a week if you still feel that you are experiencing possible symptoms at that time.

It could be it was an early loss, but there is not way to know for certain at this stage. Even with an early loss, many women will test positive initially before testing negative as the pregnancy hormone, hcg, will stay in your system for a short time afterwards as it declines.

I found out I was pregnant on my 20th Birthday. At that point I was only about 3 weeks gone.. I went to find out because I too had strange pregnancy symptoms (Tender breasts, the metallic taste in my mouth that apparently my mother had when she was pregnant with me) -... It was only a few days after I found out that I began to miscarry. I went back to the docs because I was in severe cramping pain and felt very unwell. I was startled to find I was bleeding brown blood (Like a period), so I went striaght to GP and that's when they referred me to hospital.

As previously said here, You can only find out by getting a legit pregnancy test. Maybe via your doctor, so if he tells you you're not pregnant, you can still tell him the symptoms you've had and the pain you're in. At least then you'll find out what's wrong. But I'd strongly advise getting yourself a good pregnancy test. We have Clearblue, that's the doctors equivalent - it's the one I'd use.

I hope you find out what's happening :)

First there are no "universal" pregnancy signs. In face normally the first sign will be the missed period. In your case, it does not appear missed, 2 or 3 days late is not missed, Women will often have a period a few days late, or early, and some will even miss a month now and then,

Stress and worry (about being pregnant) can even delay a period.

Home tests are fine, but most need to be done, about 2 weeks after a missed period. They should be done, in the morning, with first urine of the day.

'There May Be Women On Here Who Are Going Through Something Similar' - of course. I am a 68 year old woman. I have been through all sorts of such things. But it isn't relevant. And men can know as much as women, or more, or women who have never been pregnant... do you have to have had cancer to be a cancer specialist? No.

Again and again - you are spinning your wheels until a TEST says you are pregnant. Let's say the smell of food making you sick raises the odds of being pregnant from some mythical number like 10% to another mythical number like 40%. So what? Even if it's 75 or 90%, so what? You are either pregnant or not. You can't be 75% pregnant.

Jessiejones, your period was only 2, maybe 3 days late. In the medical community (I am a registered nurse in obstetrics), that is not late even for the most regular woman.

There are many reasons that a woman who has a regular cycle, right down to the hour, can have a fluctuating period at least once in her life. The fact of the matter here is that you DID have a period. No, you didn't miss a period, you were just later than the norm for you.

While there are tests on the market that can test even before a missed period these days, they can still be unreliable in many women due to HCG fluctuations in very early pregnancy. Some women will get a positive with these tests, yet others will test negative only to have it be a false negative a few weeks later.

Right now, you are playing the waiting game and have to see what happens when you expect your period in December. If it does not come as expected, then test again when you are a week or two late. Remember to use first morning urine as it is more reliable due to an increased concentration of HCG. Until that time treat yourself as if you are pregnant. Take prenatal vitamins (they are over-the-counter and not prescription), get plenty of rest, eat healthy, and avoid tobacco, drugs and alcohol.
