    Australia, dreamtime,wind-powered dredge
The name of a movie, from the 1980s I think, about some American kids in the outback of Australia. Every once in awhile there is a strange noise and the kids think it is some kind of ghost or monster. There are segments of the movie showing aboriginal "dreamtime" sequences. In the end the "monster" turns out to be a crane or dredge used years before for digging/mining. Every time the wind blows it turns the windmill that powered the crane, causing the underwater crane to move and make loud noises as the compressed air from the windmill runs the crane through a movement cycle.

Here in Northern Illinois there has been much controversy about wind turbines. It being 'green energy',unreliably(as the wind isn't ALWAYS there)no way to store extra power made from them(at least no proposals have surfaced for storage cells),problems professed by locals(encouraged by opposition)...
