Trying to get pregnant
When do I take a pregnancy test? I had my iud removed about two and a half weeks ago. My husband and I started trying right after it was taken out I didn't get my period on it so I don't know when it is due. When should I take a pregnancy test?

The best time is about two weeks after your period should have started. So two weeks after the start of a missed period. Use your first morning urine that is the most concentrated so when you test you'll have a better chance of the truce positive instead of a false negative.
Good luck and remember that it can take perfectly healthy and fertile couples several months to actually conceive. Have fun with it!

Also, if nothing happens in a few months, you may want to start tracking ovulation using basal temp or other medical testing. And properly time sex.
The removal of the IUD ( depending on the type) can also have effect on monthly cycle

Could I be pregnant already?
I have been having unprotected sex for about two and a half weeks. We started the day after my iud removal. My nipples have been a little sensitive and I get exhausted easily. But I have cramps and I get dizzy. Could I be pregnant already? And if so is all of this normal?

Was the IUD a hormonal IUD like the Mirena? If so, you are possibly just having some side effects of the removal.
The return of your period will vary from woman to woman. It could take as little as a month or longer depending on the type of the IUD you had.

Also, J9 will know this better, but our doctor told us, (my wife and I) to wait 2 week after IUD removal, to start having sex. Perhaps it was just my wife's case.

Negative pregnancy test
So I have been having unprotected sex for three weeks starting the day after my iud removal. I spotted for like four days. It was light but I can't tell if it was a period or just spotting from the removal. I was having intercourse during the time. I took a pregnancy test three days ago but it was a really cheap one and I might have done it wrong. I am constipated and my breasts ans nipples are sensitive and I get exhausted really fast. I have also been having a little cramping. What is going on an I pregnant? Did I do the test to soon? Do I have pregnancy symptoms?

It is actually a fine scale when it comes ot pregnancy tests. They all do the same thing, indicate when you have a particular hormone in your urine, hCG if I am not mistaken. Most of these tests carry instructions that tell you to use your first urine of the day and to ensure that the test is taken a number of days after your missed period. The difference is that time frame and the flashyness of the test. If you read the ones that claim EARLY detection most will tell you that they positively identify pregnancies 55% of the times 19times out of 20. Which means that they will probably give you a false negative that early as well.
The short of it is that there really isn't a BEST or WORST brand, just different. At the proper time a dollar store brand test will perform the same as the fancy one that you can link to your Facebook profile and have it automatically post the results. *Selfie*
The advice stands you're going to need to wait until you've missed your period by about two weeks. First morning urine. IF you're unsure then talk to your doctor.

Pregnancy test
Will it make a difference taking a pregnancy test at night rather than in the morning? Cause everyone is saying to take it in the morning

Follow the instructions on the packet.
First morning urine is most concentrated.

Yes, it makes a difference. You see, the first morning urine is more concentrated with the HCG hormone since you have been sleeping all night and not drinking or urinating. If you take it in the evening you run the risk of a false negative because you have been drinking and urinating all day, thus decreasing the concentration of the hormone in your urine.

The majority of tests will pick up a level of 25 mIU hcg. Some may with a lower amount, others not until a higher level has been reached. Read the package to see the sensitivity of the test. As CravenMorhead stated, plenty of women find that the inexpensive brands are fine.

Pregnancy test question
So I took a pregnancy test three days after having unprotected sex for three weeks. It came out negative, but I took it at night and chugged water before I took it. Could I still be pregnant? I don't know when my period is due because I had an iud and didn't get my period on it. Are constipation and dizziness pregnancy symptoms?

As we told you in one of your earlier threads, taking a pregnancy test at night is less reliable. Please take another on using first morning urine.

You need to wait, until about 2 weeks after you miss a period, it sounds like you are taking it very early.
Also drinking water has ntohing to do with it.
Taking it at night is the worst time to take the test, take it in the morning when you first get up

Drinking water has a LOT to do with it. When you ingest fluids, those fluids go to you bladder and dilute your urine, thus diluting the HCG hormone in your urine. This then puts you at risk of false negatives.

Very true... this is why if a woman does decide to take a pregnancy test later in the day, she should avoid drinking too much fluids and using the toilet for a few hours prior to testing to allow hcg to build up and not be diluted. Women will often test at the doctor's throughout the day.
Using first morning urine is not as much of a concern with the sensitivity of tests manufactured these days, but it does make it easier to just get up and test first thing after a night's sleep, so it is still often the recommended time for testing.

Every woman is different. Pain is subjective, so what is extraordinarily painful to one person may just be a minor discomfort to another.
Basically, they typically are tender and a minor annoyance, but not really painful.
