I bought a house with a Bryant plus 80 heater. There was no thermostat so I connected the red and white wires (as I saw on one of your answers) to gat it fired up. The burners ignited but flamed out in less than a minute and the led code showed #34 , (Ignition proving failure) but it did fire up...

The furnace is approximately 20 years old and is a Model Ultra 97. I can not locate what is holding the blower and motor assembly in place. It looks like the assembly should simply slid out from the side, on two tracks. It won't budge, but I see nothing that seems to be holing it in place?
