    Hi there,
Last year I applied for a decision from court to receive child benefits for my 16 year old daughter and the decision was 200 euros monthly,I was never married to this guy from Syria and im from Malta anyway he put his surname on the birth certificate behind my back to to a law that came out when she was four years old,and never paid child support until recent cause of the court order, anyway the child support stopped and I found out he went to England, what are my chances of receiving child support.. since he's abroad?.

It is hard to collect even locally and almost impossible at times if he travels abroad. You can attempt legal action for late payments and past due support. You may also contact a legal firm where the father is now living and discuss options of collections.
