OK my boyfriend was doing probation for a charge called manufacturing drugs or something like that. He did not have the drugs but just came out of the bathroom and they arrested him. Meanwhile, the real offender the drug doing the sale to an uncover cop walked--all his charges were dropped and he has been arrested at least 6 times for this stuff. This was not fair! Now b/f is arrested for selling 2 rifles to a pawn shop in July 2014 and arrested and in jail since 9/20/2014. He did this brecause I could not find my ID--me very clean record. He is now just today VOP with these charges which he has not been arranged for yet--10/20/2014. We do have a lawyer but he has not seen her yet. He also has a very bad heart and health failing. What is my next step so he does not go to the state pen! Could he get the option starting over because he was very good with probabtion if the pawn c harges are dropped? See, a public offender said if he gets someone, me, to take full responsibility of pawn charges would drop then we have the VOP caused by the dropped charges. What do I do next?

Don't do anything until he talks to his lawyer. It's a thin story when a felon commits a felony while on probation.
